I can honestly say I love the limited slip collar it has changed how I view of the slip collar world and I love it! The limited hybrid collar design is an absolute GAME CHANGER in the handmade rope collar market! It gives the safety and security of knowing your dog can’t accidentally slip out and get loose, is easy to slip on and off, and also has a clasp that provides a quick release option in the event of an emergency. This collar really does it all and the fact that it is fully customizable for you and your dog is just the icing on the cake. The limited hybrid design meets all of my needs in a collar and more, I honestly don’t see myself purchasing any other design but the limited hybrid in the future!

We love the design of the limited slip collars. We’ve had slip collars before that were quite bulky and the design of which made the collars look odd on the dogs, but these are very sleek and don’t have excess material dangling down. We also love that this collar design means the dogs won’t choke themselves out like they tend to do without thought with full-slip collars. We love the hybrid design because we know the collar won’t slip off their heads and that they won’t hurt themselves by pulling.

I have 2 limited hybrids and they’re the only thing I ever have him wear. To have sniffy walks and daily wear/outings without having to worry about it over-tightening so it’s not aversive for him. Genuinely don’t know if I’ll ever use a different collar on him regularly ever again.

I got a leash extension and a leather traffic handle and it is just super versatile! I have the extension on a retractable leash for extra length and my pup listens well to leash pressure and commands so I knew I would have no problem. My pup wears a harness and having the retractable and a sturdy rope leash to keep her close is just so comforting, and I have the leather leash hanging off her to grab and hold her closer. The rope is super soft and easy to handle, a lot of the time other companies that make rope leashes have rope that you need to break in so it moves better, it comes in stiff and hard and generally uncomfortable but Cross Winds just really doesn't do that. I can get a leash in the mail and it'll be as if I've used it for years and years (which I plan on doing) and the leather isn't sticky or stiff nor is it oily. Highly recommend this one especially if you're just getting into CWL stuff!

I've tried my fair share of slip leashes, slip collars, martingale etc. And hands down this one tops them all. The swivel on the handle eliminates the kinks for smooth walking. I honestly hate the robber stoppers on other slips (my dogs hair would always get stuck) but the leather stopper is so smooth yet sturdy. The leather handle feels so buttery in the hand, so lightweight that when I need to use leash pressure my dog responds so intuitively. This may also be helpful to some but the ruffian rope works great for my 50# dog to use as a figure 8 without issue. May need to end up getting all the colors! :D

Bought the prism color with acorn and it is just beautiful. I love the classic yet sporty look of the collar. My dog has a bigger head but tiny neck, other collars this style would be too big no matter what i measured but the trigger snap works wonderfully so I don't have to put her head through, just clip on and go!
